Groundwater Modelling with FEFLOW
Lakewood, Colorado, USA
June 10-14, 2024
Learn about the fundamentals of groundwater modelling in a mining context.
Learn about the fundamentals of groundwater modelling in a mining context.
This hands-on course provides comprehensive training in groundwater modelling using FEFLOW and consists of both introductory and advanced modules.
The introductory modules are designed to teach basic concepts of the software through the construction of two-dimensional and three-dimensional models of flow and transport of solutes, applying the most important functions of the program.
The advanced modules aim to provide skills applicable to groundwater modelling in the mining context. FEFLOW is widely recognized as a comprehensive software package for underground flow and transport simulation. Its unique meshing capabilities (structured and unstructured) allow for the highest degree of flexibility to account, in detail, for both the simplest and the most complex geometric configurations.
The software is used by leading research institutes, universities, consulting companies and government organizations around the world. The application scope of FEFLOW ranges from simple local scale to complex large-scale modeling.
If you are a groundwater professional working for a consulting company, public institution, university or research institution, this course is for you! Participants are expected to have a basic knowledge of groundwater modelling as well as computer applications.
Introductory Modules (June 10-12, 2024): $1,595
Advanced Modules (June 13-14, 2024) $995
Introductory + Advanced Modules (June 10-14, 2024): $2,195
